Commonly known as Lee Valley Veldrome, Lee Valley Velopark is situated in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London. Opened in 2011, this venue features a 250m, high-performance indoor velodrome, able to accommodate 6,000 spectators.

It was this velodrome that hosted the London 2012 Olympics cycling competition, which produced some of the greatest moments in sporting history. Team GB achieved seven gold medals and a further 15 medals during Paralympic events, with the likes of sporting royalty, Sir Chris Hoy and Dame Sarah Storey performing here.

Following the Olympics, the venue has seen development that aims to create a space for the use of the public. This has included reconfiguring the velodrome, modifying the BMX track, and constructing new mountain bike trails and a road circuit. In 2014, Lee Valley Velopark became the world’s only venue that brings together the four Olympic cycling disciplines: track in the London 2012 velodrome, BMX, road and mountain biking.
